First PAM International School on Strongly Correlated Electron Systems (in the memory of the late Prof. M. Zareian)

We are pleased to announce that the Physics of Advanced Material (PAM) Research Group PAMS1at the Department of Physics, Sharif University of Technology, is organizing the first summer school on strongly correlated electron systems during 10-12 September 2014.

The aim of the school is to cover basic concepts and recent trend of research in physics of advanced materials. The lecturers of the school are Prof. M. Farle, lecturer and researcher in experimental condensed matter physics and nano-magnets from the University of Duisburg (Germany), and Prof. G. Baskaran, lecturer and researcher in theoretical condensed matter physics from the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (Canada).
