Quantum Information Science, Quantum Computation, Quantum Estimation/Tomography, Quantum Control Theory, Dynamics of Open Quantum Systems.
Research Plan
Currently, Ali is interested in and working on different aspects of quantum information science; specifically, characterization, processing, and control of (open) quantum systems. Some problems in complex systems--e.g., in condensed-matter physics or statistical mechanics--(esp. with quantum information aspects) are also in his domain of interest/research.
